My Bio
I still remember the first time I laid my hands on a semi-decent camera... :la:

Back in 2009 (when I was just a wee little HS freshman) I took a stop-motion animation class, and had to buy one to participate in the course. I ended up with a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ38...it wasn't amazing or anything, but I guess it wasn't too bad either. Anyways, I made it through the year-long class without producing anything too embarrassing, but I'm not about to show anyone here on dA xD Before I even considered taking photos as an art in itself, I became intrigued with how...well, cool my camera was; I was probably a bit too entertained by some of the simpler features, like going back and forth between depths of field while looking through the viewfinder. Before I knew it, I was trying out neat artsy stuff and, with a bit of encouragement, I put some time in and got to how I am today~

I now use a Nikon D5100 with two AF-S NIKKOR super-zoom lenses (18-55mm, 55-200mm) and an AF-S Micro NIKKOR prime lens (40mm).

Concerning my post-processing background, I started off with CS3 in 7th grade (2007) at school during recess and pretty much just taught myself through experimenting and messing around. I currently use Adobe Photoshop CS5~
Sup, I'm back.  -cues confetti spray- (...again) Alright, sooo I'll spare all of you from my 20th or so "was on haitus but now I'll be posting regularly C:" attempts at getting back on dA and cut to the chase. I've tried to go for 365 projects in the past and uh...gave up on most of them in the first week.  Clearly, something wasn't really working out.  365 projects are hard as poop, and unless you have a lot of time, determination, and commitment, you'll never make it through a fraction of it.  And since I suck hardcore in each of those areas, I've decided to cheat my way through my next attempt at a 365. I don't go out to shoot photos ve

I'll upload it sometime today if I'm allowed~  It's just stuff that's already on this site, but they're newer edits.  I'll get to newer stuff after it's done so yayy!  Stay tuned for another journal featuring it!

Hey guys!  So as I'm sure you've all heard, there's going to be a deviantMEET at the Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle next week Saturday! (March 23, 2013) I was just wondering; how many of you are coming?  It'd be sweet if I got to meet some of my watchers, and I could even show you some photoshop tips if you're into that sort of stuff~ If you're just hearing about this and are considering it, here's a link http://ayame-kenoshi.deviantart.com/journal/Join-us-for-a-deviantMEET-in-Seattle-WA-354534217?utm_source=elnino&utm_medium=messagecenter&utm_campaign=031213_MKT_SeattledeviantMEET&utm_term=link Currently, over 600 people have signed up,

Can I ask for a retouch commission on a photo?
Sorry for such a late response AussieMine!! I've been hugely inactive this summer >< I know quite a long time has passed since you made this request, but if you still have any photos you'd like commissioned id be glad to retouch them!

E-mail them to the address mentioned in the Commission widget box <jcuk4now@yahoo.com>. (: if you'd like to make any specifications as to how you'd like your photo to be edited, include them in the email w the attached photo(s), and make sure to remember to send an order in the commission widget box (:
